Terms β edooview (Human rendering)
Version 1.0 Β· Effective 23-08-2026
*Same agreement as the Clear version, just friendlier words. If any wording ever differs, the
Clear (plain) version v1.0 is the one that counts.*
Status: DRAFT β not yet approved for production use. Written 23-08-2026 from an audit of
what edooview actually stores. Not legal advice; a lawyer has not reviewed this text.
Three voices, one binding text: βοΈ Formal Β· π Clear Β· π¬ Human carry identical clause numbers,
and the Clear (plain) version is the only binding one.
1. Who you're dealing with
edooview is made and run by We make AI work s.r.o. β a Czech company, IΔO 29697115,
based at NovΓ© sady 988/2, StarΓ© Brno, 602 00 Brno, registered at the Regional Court in Brno, file C 152497. The product has
its own name, but the company behind every promise on this page is us. Want to reach a human?
privacy@wemakeai.work β we read it.
2. When these terms apply
Use edooview, create an account, or buy something β and these terms are the deal between
us. If they're not okay with you, that's fine too, just don't use the service.
3. What you actually get β what edooview is
Here's what edooview actually does.
Your school talks to you in Czech through Edookit. If you don't read Czech, that's a problem you
feel every week β a trip letter you half-understand, an exam date you find out about afterwards.
So: you give edooview your Edookit login once. It checks in with the portal for you, pulls in the
messages, homework, exams, grades, the timetable, the payment requests β and hands them back to
you in your language, sorted, with a line telling you what each one is about. You can filter it
down to one kid. You can look at the week ahead. You can ask it to ping you once a day, or the
moment something urgent lands.
Right now it's free. There's no paid version yet. If that changes, you'll read about it here
before it happens, not after.
A few honest things:
Only connect an account that's actually yours. Obvious, but worth saying.
We are not the school. The portal is the real record β if something really matters, check it
there. We'll always tell you when we last synced, and shout if syncing breaks, so you're never
trusting a screen that quietly stopped updating.
The translations come from a machine. Machines get things wrong. The Czech original is one tap
away, every time.
We read the school's servers gently, and if a school asks us to stop, we stop.
You need to be a grown-up and the parent or guardian on the account.
4. Paying
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Stripe handles the payment β we never see or
store your card number. We're not VAT-registered, so no surprise tax lines. If we ever change
prices, whatever you've already paid for stays exactly as it was.
5. The 14-day rule, honestly
EU law gives you 14 days to change your mind about online purchases β with one exception we have
to use: when you buy digital content that's delivered instantly (a pass, an unlock), you agree
we deliver right away, and that means the 14-day return window closes at that moment. That's
Β§ 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code doing its thing. Subscriptions are simpler: cancel anytime,
you keep what you paid for until the period runs out.
6. Fair play
Don't use the service to do anything illegal, don't try to break it, flood it, scrape it, resell
it, or sneak past the payment gate. If someone does that seriously, we can suspend their account
β with a warning first, whenever that's possible.
7. If something goes wrong
We build with care, but no service is perfect. Where the law allows it, we're not on the hook for
indirect damage or outages beyond our control, and our total liability is capped at what you paid
us in the last 12 months. Where the law says liability can't be limited β it isn't. Consumer
rights stay fully intact.
8. Your data
The short version: we collect as little as possible and sell nothing. The full, honest story is
in the Privacy Policy at https://edooview.com/privacy β it's genuinely short.
9. When these terms change
If the service, prices or the law change, these terms follow. The current version always lives at
https://edooview.com/terms with its number and date. Big changes to a running subscription?
We tell you beforehand, and you can walk away before they kick in.
10. If we disagree
Czech law applies, Czech courts decide β but your home country's consumer protections always
stand. Prefer not to go to court? The Czech Trade Inspection (ΔOI) runs a free dispute service at
https://adr.coi.cz, and the EU has one at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
